Campaign 3: Contact The CW Network And Tell Them You Want A Season 2!
One of the simplest, quickest, and most effective ways to support a renewal for The Secret Circle is to go directly to the network. They need to hear us, but they’ll be listening to a lot of show lovers this season, so we have to be extra loud. Pass along this information to as many TSC blogs and twitters as you can find. Kindly ask them to take a moment and participate in the campaign. Even if the show wasn’t on the bubble and could possibly be canceled, it’s still a great way to give the network feedback, so we can only gain from doing this.
There are two ways we are asking for you to help: online feedback and a letter campaign. Read more about them below and then decide which (if not both) you want to participate in.
Online Feedback:
It takes only a minute, but it could be just what The CW executives need to feel secure in making TSC a part of the fall line-up. Here is the link for the online feedback form: http://www.cwtv.com/feedback/comments. If you can’t access the form, please send an email to feedback@cwtv.com. All you need to tell them is what about the show you like (whether it be the actors/characters, stunts, plot lines, writing, etc.), and why you think this makes TSC deserving of a second season.
Letter Campaign:
We’ve put together a generic letter that you can send to the network. It’s not just any letter though. It resembles a page out a Book of Shadows. We want our campaign to stand out, and we thought this would be the easiest/most accessible thing for U.S. and international fans to do, while still being creative and fun. All you have to do is print it out, sign the bottom, and mail it. We’re even providing the mailing address for you! To get the letter template and CW address, click here.
Remember to keep supporting the show. This is the most important time to get behind it. They will be making a decision any day now, and we want to show the network that WE WANT MORE.

CAMPAIGN 2: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!
On top of an incredible episode, we accomplished our campaign goal of getting The Secret Circle to trend in one of the top 4 spots on GetGlue between 8pm ET (5pm PT) and 1am ET (10pm PT). It is currently still trending (thanks West Coast!) Outstanding work everyone!
We’ll be announcing the winner of our TSC book giveaway earlier than we expected. If you still want to enter, please do so by tomorrow (Friday), April 27th at 5 pm ET.
Good luck to everyone who entered and be on the look out for our next campaign. With only 2 episodes left and renewal/cancellation announcements on the horizon, this upcoming week may be our most important.
Zap to It reviewed the group of CW shows facing potential cancellation. Not only did they analyze the case for (and against) a Secret Circle return, they posted a poll where fans can voice their own opinions. As polling is one way to help let the network know we want another season, join us in saving the circle by voting here.
Then be sure to pass along the voting link to other fans. Let’s make some noise about our favorite CW show!
We’ve all heard it. The Secret Circle is on “bubble watch.” If you aren’t familiar with the term, it basically means the show’s renewal status could go either way. Of course for TSC fans this is not good news, but it doesn’t mean you should start preparing a “the coven is totally doomed” post. Bubble watch isn’t good, however, there are multiple shows on the network who are in the same position. And we’re about to tell you why that is very good news.
Below is the most recent Bubble Watch chart and Cancel/Renewal Index provided by TV By The Numbers.

According to the Cancel/Renewal chart, TSC is the highest rated show currently sitting on the bubble. On the “Bubble Watch” chart, TSC shares space with Nikita and Gossip Girl. Not included in this list are 90210, Hart of Dixie, and Ringer. Ringer’s fate is close to being sealed in terms of cancellation (falling within the “Certain Cancellation” table). As for Heart of Dixie, TVBTN’s has it currently listed in the “Likely Cancellation” table, while 90210 has made its way into the “Likely Renewal” table. Based on all of this info, here’s why you shouldn’t think TSC is dead just yet:
THE SECRET CIRCLE:
You Take the Good: It’s hard to argue with any show that provides a weekly fix of Gale Harold.
You Take the Bad: Even the immensely watchable Gale Harold wasn’t enough to keep us tuning into what turned out to be a serious snooze of a series.
You Take Them Both and There You Have… Our Prediction: After failing to capitalize in The CW’s most high profile timeslot by consistently hemorrhaging half its VAMPIRE DIARIES lead-in, you can pretty much stick a stake in THE SECRET CIRCLE.
TV Addict’s write-up on whether or not The Secret Circle will be renewed makes some very strong points about why the show may not have a second season. But this doesn’t by any means signify it’s over. Later this week we’ll have a break-down of why you should and shouldn’t be worried about The Secret Circle coming back for Season 2. Follow us on Tumblr and Twitter to be the first to know when our analysis goes up.
